Takane and Hana

At sixteen, Hana Nonomura (Aisa Takeuchi) reluctantly attends a blind date as a stand-in for her sister, hoping to quickly end the ordeal. She meets Takane (Mahiro Takasugi), the 26-year-old heir of the Takaba Group, who is known for his stunning looks and successful career but also his arrogant attitude. Expecting to easily sabotage the date, Takane is surprised by Hana's fiery and unimpressed demeanor. Intrigued by her unique response to his wealth and status, Takane finds himself unexpectedly drawn to her. As fate continues to bring them together, he begins to fall for Hana, challenging the notion of whether two completely different personalities can truly find love. This is a romantic comedy based on the manga series "Takane to Hana" by Yuki Shiwasu, a 2019 Japanese drama directed by Yusuke Ishii.
