Ye Qing is a Chinese actress who also is known as Julia Ye, Xiao Mei and Qing Er. Born on November 13, 1988, she made her acting debut in the 2009 film “Love Angel.” She has since appeared in many popular films and television dramas, including the recent “Princess Jie You” (2016), “Love & Life & Lie” (2017) and “Shen Ye Shi Tang” (2017).

Bosco Wong is a celebrated Hong Kong actor and singer. Born on December 13, 1980, he was first discovered by a talent scout on the street and began working as a model in 1998 while he was still in high school. After graduation, he began hosting TV shows and then made his acting debut in minor roles in “Burning Flame II” (2002) and “Triumph in the Skies” (2003). He has since starred in many popular films and television series, as well as expanded into films and television shows in Mainland China. Some of his more recent work includes “Heart of Greed” (2007), “Burning Flame III” (2009), “Lives of Omission” (2011), “A Change of Heart” (2013) and “The Ultimate Addiction” (2014). Bosco Wong also has released two music EPs, sung the soundtracks of many popular films and television shows, and performed many popular children’s songs.

Qu Gao Wei is a Chinese actor who was born in Shandong Province, China. He studied in the Department of Performance in Beijing’s Central Academy of Drama, and graduated in 2003. He made his acting debut in 2007 when he starred in the drama series “Golden Earrings.” He followed up with a role in the 2009 period drama "Red Cradle,” and then made his movie bow in the film “The Deadly Bullet” (2013). More recently, he has appeared in hit drama titles including “The Longest Day in Chang’an” (2019) and “Your Secret” (2019).

Zhang Tao is a Chinese actor who was born on January 17, 1987, in Wuxi, China. He studied Performance at the Shanghai Theater Academy, graduating in 2009, and made his stage debut in a musical production of “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” in 2010. He made his drama series debut in the series “The War of Beauties” in 2013. More recently, he has starred in the drama titles “To Be with You” 2019) and “Your Secret” (2019).

Gu Chu (Ye Qing) has been through a whole host of troubles on her journey to qualify as a forensic scientist.

Family troubles once forced her to drop out of university, but she was eventually able to return and complete her studies. She also suffered bereavement when her boyfriend died.

Now she has all but finished her university life, she is ready for a fresh start. She is blessed with great talent and no shortage of passion for her work. But ghosts from the past come flooding back when – as part of her graduation internship – she is assigned to work with forensics center head Lu Bei Chen (Bosco Wong), the twin brother of her deceased former boyfriend.

The pair have no choice other than to work together. But Gu Chu finds it harder than she first thought to let go of the past – and starts to resent her center chief.

However, as they begin working on cases, the two experts start to realize that together they make a formidable forensic science team. And before long, they also discover that their feelings for one another are much more complex than they first thought…

This drama was based on a novel by author Yin Xun.
