At Doldam Hospital, the legendary Teacher Kim (Han Suk Kyu) continues his unconventional medical mission as he takes on two new, challenging proteges: Seo Woo Jin (Ahn Hyo Seop), a brilliant but cynical surgeon burdened by debt and a troubled past, and Cha Eun Jae (Lee Sung Kyung), an elite cardiothoracic fellow who suffers from debilitating surgical anxiety. Thrown into Doldam's understaffed, chaotic environment, Woo Jin and Eun Jae are forced to confront their weaknesses and prejudices head-on. Under Teacher Kim's gruff but insightful guidance, they navigate complex medical emergencies, intense hospital politics, and deeply personal struggles.
