Jiu Liu Overlord

During the late Tang Dynasty, Li Qing Liu (Lai Yi), a prominent silk trader, and Long Ao Yi (Bai Lu), a tenacious Longzhu Clan member, live in separate social worlds. When the precious gold thread used for Li Qing Liu's golden silk garments is stolen, their paths unexpectedly cross. Forced to work together to recover the stolen thread, Qing Liu must overcome his prejudices against the lower classes. As they investigate, they uncover increasingly dark and complex mysteries that challenge their understanding of their society. Facing a dangerous and powerful enemy, Qing Liu and Ao Yi find themselves fighting not just for their people, but for each other, blurring the rigid class lines that once defined their lives.
