In ancient times, a savage monster named Jiuying was locked away by the Five Great Elements but not completely sealed. During the Wei and Jin Dynasties, the You State's young king (Karry Wang) brutally secures his position by beheading Baili Hongxuan and exiling his brother Baili Hongshuo (Leo Wu), while rejecting their adopted sister Baili Hongyi (Song Zu Er). Consumed by hatred and seeking revenge, the Baili siblings embark on a quest to reclaim their rightful place, unknowingly aligning with Jiuying, who seeks to reincarnate as the Emperor of You. Jiuying strategically uses the family's political turmoil to position himself in power, plotting to unleash the legendary monster once again. As the Baili siblings navigate their quest for vengeance, they must decide whether to break their cycle of hatred and stop Jiuying before he destroys everything.
