Connor Leung was born on January 3, 1994, in Shenzhen, China. He went to the South China Institute of Software Engineering, at Guangzhou University, but while studying also found work in modeling and commercials. Eventually, he decided to turn his hand to acting and was cast in the short film “Night Poet” in 2016. He made his small-screen debut in 2017, appearing in the period drama “Huang Fei Hong.” He then got his big break in the Chinese version of the series “Meteor Garden,” based on the manga title “Boys Over Flowers” – for which he won widespread acclaim.
