Moon Geun Young is a South Korean actress who has been dubbed “the nation’s little sister.” Born on May 6, 1987, she began modeling and working as a child actress at the age of 12. She became a star after appearing in the popular television drama “Autumn in My Heart” in 2000. After appearing in the blockbuster films “My Little Bride” in 2004 and “Innocent Steps” in 2005, Moon Geun Young became the youngest winner of the Daesang (Grand Prize) at the 2008 SBS Drama Awards for her role in the drama “Painter in the Wind.” The winner of many Best Actress awards, Moon Geun Young has easily made the transition into adult roles, most notably in “Cinderella’s Sister” (2010), “Mary Me, Mary!” (2010), “Cheongdam-dong Alice” (2012), “Jung Yi, Goddess of Fire” (2013) and “The Village: Achiara’s Secret” (2015).

Born on November 29, 1980, he made his acting debut in the 1999 television drama “School 2.” Many film and television roles have followed, including “Cinderella’s Sister” (2010), “Glory Jane” (2011), “Heart to Heart” (2015), “Master: God of Noodles” (2016) and “Love Alert” (2018). Chun Jung Myung also has appeared on a number of variety shows and in the music videos of famous music artists. He is self-managed after starting his own management company in 2011.

Taecyeon, also known as Ok Taecyeon, is a South Korean singer and actor who is best known for being the main rapper for the K-pop boy group 2PM. Born on December 27, 1988, as Ok Taek Yeon, he immigrated with his family when he was 10 years old to Bedford, Massachusetts. He lived in Massachusetts for 7 years and attended Bedford High School before moving to Seoul while he was still in high school to pursue a career in the arts.

Taecyeon transferred to Young Dong High School in Seoul to finish his high school years and completed his undergraduate degree at Dankook University where he majored in Business Administration. He later furthered his studies at the prestigious Korea University, enrolling in their Graduate School of International Studies.

When he was 17, Taecyeon participated in an open audition for JYP Entertainment in New York City at his sister’s urging. He was chosen as one of the final 35 and was invited to Korea to continue in the competition. In 2008, he participated in the reality show “Hot Blood Men,” which followed 13 trainees who eventually formed the boy bands 2AM and 2PM. Taecyeon joined 2PM, which debuted in 2008. As the main rapper, he has contributed both songs and rap lyrics to the group’s discography. 2PM took an official hiatus between July 2017 to June 2021 due to the members’ enlistment in their mandatory military service but returned from their hiatus in June 2021 with the release of their 7th studio album. Taecyeon carried out his enlistment from September 4, 2017 to May 16, 2019.

Taecyeon made his acting debut in “Cinderella’s Sister” (2010), a modern twist on the classic ‘Cinderella’ fairy tale. As Eun Jo slowly settles into her new life, Hyo Sun begins to resent her as she sees her father’s affection shifting towards her stepsister. Driven by jealousy, Hyo Sun does everything in her power to make Eun Jo’s life miserable. Can such polar opposites ever find a way to get along or will their sibling rivalry ruin any chance either of them have at finding their very own happily ever after?

A modern day adaptation of the classic fairy tale with a twist, “Cinderella’s Sister” is a 2010 drama directed by Kim Young Jo and Kim Won Seok.
