Lee Poh Shiang is a Malaysian-Taiwanese actor who was born on August 2, 1989. He studied at the Taiwan Normal University and debuted in the 2010 drama series “Qing yi yue guang.” He has since followed up with a number of hit drama series titles, including “A Tale of Two Cities” in 2018 and the romantic comedy “8 Days Limited” (2020).

Lee Poh Shiang

Liang Yi Chan is a Taiwanese actress who was born on October 24, 1990. She studied at Providence University, where she majored in Business and Trade. However, she soon turned her attention to acting, and in 2013 made her debut in a music video for a release by pop singer Bii. She followed up in 2014 with her drama debut in “The X-Dormitory,” as well as her big-screen bow in “Paradise in Service.” She has since gone on to appear in “Spicy Teacher” (2018), “The Way We Love” (2019), and “8 Days Limited” (2020).

Liang Yi Chan

Li Cheng Ta is a Taiwanese actor who was born on January 3, 1992 in Taipei, Taiwan. He made his acting debut in the romantic drama series “In Time with You” in 2011 and has since gone on to appear in hit drama titles such as “Apple in Your Eye” (2014) and “The X-Dormitory” (2014). More recently, he has starred in “8 Days Limited” (2020).

Li Cheng Ta

Song Wei En is a Taiwanese actor who was born on December 20, 1994, in Taichung. He studied at the National Taiwan University of Arts, and then made his acting debut in 2015, appearing in the culinary-themed TV drama series “Love Kitchen.” He followed up with a performance in “Swimming Battle” in 2016, and scooped the Best New Actor prize at the Golden Bell Awards for his role in the 2018 series “Age of Rebellion.” He has also appeared in drama titles such as “The Making of an Ordinary Woman” and the second “HIStory” installment of 2019, “HIStory 3: Make Our Days Count.”

Song Wei En

Hou Ba Tian (Lee Poh Shiang) feels like he is cursed: Shorter than most, he is also cowardly, and anything but a shining star in the workplace.

What’s more, everything good in his life appears to come with an eight-day time limit: Just eight days after finding a new job, he is fired by his disappointed boss. Just eight days after starting a new relationship, his girlfriend dumps him. No matter what he tries, he cannot seem to find long-term satisfaction or success.

Meanwhile, Meng Po Er (Liang Yi Chan) is also down on her luck. Although she is tall and good-looking, she has just been robbed. She is then thrown out of her house, and is eventually forced to take a job at a street food vendors’ stall.

Hou Ba Tian visits the stall to drink and eat, and saves her from what appears to be an altercation with a customer. The down-on-their-luck duo decides to join forces, and Hou Ba Tian agrees to allow Meng Po Er to live with him – if she agrees to do all the housework!

Could their fortunes change for the better? Will Hou Ba Tian break his eight-day curse? And could love blossom for this odd couple?

“8 Days Limited” is a 2020 drama series that was co-produced by Hong Cai Cen and Xiong Hong Bin.
