Working as an assistant chef at the Bauhinia Hotel, Gu Shengnan (Zhao Lu Si) thought her life was on track. She had a great boyfriend, a job she loved, and a bright future ahead of her. That all changes when she catches her boyfriend cheating and learns the hotel is being acquired by Lu Jin (Lin Shen), the sharp-tongued CEO she recently clashed with. Facing an uncertain future, Shengnan's luck turns when one of her dishes land on Lu Jin's table. A passionate foodie, Lu Jin is impressed by Shengnan’s culinary skills.
