At the tender age of eleven, Zhang Jian Yi (Wu Nien Hsuan) was diagnosed with a genetic heart disease. An avid basketball player, Jian Yi was devastated by the news. With his dreams of becoming a professional baller now shattered, Jian Yi set aside his passion for the sport he loved and tried to find a way to move on with life. But some dreams refuse to be forgotten.

Now sixteen, Jian Yi has never lost his passion for basketball. Though never playing in public, there hasn’t been a day in his life where he hasn’t practiced, his love of the sport constantly driving him to keep moving forward. When Yan Xi (Tsai Jui Hsueh), the high school basketball team’s manager happens to catch Jian Yi during one of his secret practice sessions, she instinctively realizes he’s exactly what her team needs.

Convincing Jian Yi to join the team, Yan Xi stands by her new recruit, despite the protests of many. Forced to fight against the disdain of his teammates, the opposition of his parents, and his own physical limitations, Jian Yi is pushed to the limits.
