Eugene is the stage name of Kim Yoo Jin, a popular South Korean singer and actress. Born on March 3, 1981, she began her career as a part of the idol girl group S.E.S., which was active from 1997 to 2002 and was considered the first successful K-pop girl group. After the group disbanded in 2002, Eugene released two solo albums and has enjoyed a successful acting career. Eugene made her acting debut in the 2002 television series “Loving You.” She has since starred in many popular films and television dramas, including the recent “A Hundred Years’ Inheritance” (2013), “Can We Love?” (2014) and “All About My Mom” (2015). In 2011, Eugene married actor Ki Tae Young, her co-star from the 2009 drama “Creating Destiny.” The couple and their daughter, Rohee, joined the cast of the popular reality series “The Return of Superman,” in December 2015.

During a visit to Korea in 2004, she appeared in a TV commercial for LG Telecom with actor Bae Yong Joon. She then moved back to Korea in 2005, changing her name to Kim Ji Ah before adopting the stage name Lee Ji Ah. She shot to stardom after being cast in the leading role of the 2007 television series “The Legend,” which also starred Bae Yong Joon. Born on March 23, 1976, he made his acting debut in musical theater in 1996. He made his small-screen debut in the 2007 drama “Kimchi Cheese Smile.” He has since appeared in many popular films and television dramas, including “Scent of a Woman” (2011), “Ghost” (2012), “I Hear Your Voice” (2013), “Masked Prosecutor” (2015), the web drama “Nightmare Teacher” (2016), “Defendant” (2017), “I Am Not a Robot” (2017-2018) and “Wizard of Nowhere” (2018).
