Choi Soo Young

Choi Tae Joon is a South Korean actor who won a Best New Actor award for his role in the 2014 television drama “Mother’s Garden.” Born on July 7, 1991, he started his career as a child actor in the 2001 television drama “Piano.” HIs other well-known roles include the dramas “Padam Padam” (2011), “The Great Seer” (2012), “Adolescence Medley” (2013), “The Girl Who Sees Smells” (2015), “All About My Mom” (2015-2016), “The Flower in Prison” (2016), “Suspicious Partner” (2017) and “109 Strange Things” (2018). Choi Tae Joon also became the host of the variety show “Hello Counselor” and joined the cast of “We Got Married” with Yoon Bomi of Apink in 2016.

Chansung is the stage name of Hwang Chansung, a South Korean singer, rapper and actor. Born on February 11, 1990, he made his acting debut in the 2006 television drama “Unstoppable High Kick.” That same year, Chansung auditioned for the reality show “Superstar Survival” and became one of the dozen finalists. In 2008, he took part in “Hot Blood Men,” which followed the tough training regimen of 13 music trainees to form the boy band One Day. One Day ended up producing two boy bands, 2AM and 2PM, and Chansung became the youngest member of 2PM in 2008. In addition to his musical activities, Chansung has continued to act, appearing in many popular films and television dramas, including “7th Grade Civil Servant” (2013) and “Ms. Temper & Nam Jung Gi” (2016). He also has been a popular guest on television variety shows.

Magazine reporter Lee Geun Young (Choi Sooyoung)’s career takes a nosedive after she accidentally throws up on top celebrity Hoo Joon (Choi Tae Joon). She is fired, and assumes Hoo Joon orchestrated the sacking. So she stages a one-person protest outside his talent agency, becoming his most notorious “anti-fan.” A TV producer decides to capitalize on her 15 minutes of fame by casting Geun Young alongside Hoo Joon in a reality TV show where they must live together. Geun Young agrees, happy to get a paycheck, while Hoo Joon agrees, thinking it may boost his flagging popularity. Things get off to an explosive start as filming begins. But could Cupid arrive and smooth out their differences? This 2021 South Korean drama series was based on a novel by Kim Eun Jung and was directed by Kang Cheol Woo.
