About Lee Do Hyun: 
Lee Do Hyun is a South Korean actor. He was born on April 11, 1995 in the city of Goyang in Gyeonggi-do, and is the eldest son in his family. Though Lee had a passion for the arts since young, his family was not initially supportive of him pursuing it as a career. He continued to secretly pursue acting lessons without his father’s knowledge, although his parents would eventually come to support his choice to forge his own path as an actor.

In May 1980, amidst political turmoil and student uprisings in Gwangju, medical student Hwang Hee Tae (Lee Do Hyun) opens an illegal clinic treating student protestors alongside his best friend, a pro-democracy activist. However, when a factory worker is injured and needs more serious medical attention, Hee Tae makes an agreement with his father: in exchange for the cost of transportation and treatment, he will meet with a potential marriage partner. He finds an unexpected attraction in Kim Myeong Hee (Go Min Si), a nurse who actually took the place of a friend at the meeting. Against all odds, they fall in love, but the escalating violence and the brutal suppression of the Gwangju Uprising threaten to tear them apart.
