Three female university students are thrown together when their teacher tells them to work as a group on preparing a report about sex and love. But this trio comprises very different members: seniors Heo Ji Yoo (Park Ji Won) and Kang Ha Young (Kim Chae Eun) have crossed paths before, but there is bad blood between them as the former is an assertive, strong-willed, free-spirited, and adventurous young woman who took time off college to “have fun.” Kang Ha Young has a much more conservative outlook, has a long-term boyfriend, and hopes to become an exchange student. Meanwhile, the ever-cheerful junior Ban Ah In (Park Su A) is totally inexperienced when it comes to intimacy – although she frequently dreams of having her first sexual experience with her co-worker at the cafe where she works part-time. As they begin to work on the project together, the three women eventually strike up a close bond despite all of their differences. But when unexpected health matters crop up, the people they thought they could rely on for support threaten to desert them. Could their friendship help this trio navigate the complicated landscape of young love? “Growing Season” is a 2020 South Korean drama series that was directed by Yoo Hee Woon.
