Ji Jin Hee is a popular South Korean actor. Born on June 24, 1971, he was working as a photographer in an advertising agency when a talent agent approached him about working in entertainment. He refused the offer but then took it a year later when he was laid off from his job during the IMF financial crisis in Korea. Ji Jin Hee made his acting debut in the 2000 television drama “Female Secretary” and has starred in many films and dramas since. He is best known for his roles in the historic dramas “Dae Jang Geum” (2003) and “Dong Yi” (2010) but also has starred in the popular dramas “The Man Who Can’t Get Married” (2009), “The Great Seer” (2012), “A Word From Warm Heart” (2013), “Blood” (2015), “Midnight Diner” (2015), “I Have a Lover” (2015) and “Second to Last Love” (2016).

Born on January 2, 1978, she made her acting debut in the 2005 film “Blood Rain” and then won the New Star Award at the 2005 SBS Drama Awards for her role in the television drama “Lovers in Prague.” She has since had a prolific career in films and television dramas, including the recent “My Sassy Girl” (2017), “Just Between Lovers” (2017-2018) and “The Good Witch” (2018).

Kim Hye Eun is a South Korean actress and television personality born on March 1, 1973, in Busan, South Korea. She studied at Seoul National University and began her career as an announcer for MBC in 1997. She made her drama debut in “Nonstop 3” (2002), while still a member of the news team at MBC. In 2004, she decided to quit her MBC post and then went on to pursue a full-time career in drama. She has since appeared in the series “New Heart” (2007), “Women of the Sun” (2008), “Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time” (2012), and “Secret Love Affair” (2014). More recently, she has starred in the dramas “Encounter” (2018) and “Doctor John” (2019).

Born on September 9, 1960, he made his acting debut in the 1986 film “Street of Desire” but his career took off after he won Best New Actor at the 28th Baeksang Arts Awards for his role in the 1990 television drama “Love on a Jujube Tree.” Chun Ho Jin has appeared in many popular films and television dramas throughout his prolific career, including the recent “City Hunter” (2011), “Bridal Mask” (2012), “All About My Romance” (2013), “Two Weeks” (2013), “Doctor Stranger” (2014), “Six Flying Dragons” (2015) and “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” (2016), “Chicago Typewriter” (2017) and “My Golden Life” (2017-2018). In 2009, Chun Ho Jin published a book titled Chun Ho Jin’s Woodworking DIY.

Ahn Nae Sang is a South Korean actor who was born on December 25, 1964, in Daegu, South Korea. He studied Theology at Yonsei University and began acting in stage plays, making his screen debut in a short film made by Oscar-winning direct Bong Joon Ho in 1994, and then appearing in “Bad Movie” (1997). He has since appeared in scores of drama and movie titles, including the series “Misty” (2018) and “Eccentric! Chef Moon” (2020).

Ahn Nae Sang

Kim Sung Soo is a South Korean actor who was born on May 23, 1975. He studied at Kyung Hee University and made his acting debut in 1995, when he appeared in the drama series “Adults Don’t Know.” He went on to star in a number of hit drama a movie titles in the early 2000s, such as the 2003 film “Sweet Sex and Love” and the 2004 drama “Full House.” More recently, he has starred in the dramas “Should We Kiss First?” (2018) and “The Road: The Tragedy of One” (2021).

He is famed as a moral champion and the public believes him to be a paragon of virtue and presents the flagship news show on the BSN TV network. However, what his viewers don’t know if that he is actually a very cold, calculating individual who will stop at nothing to get what he wants. He also harbors a dark secret. His wife Seo Eun Soo (Yoon Se Ah) is the daughter of the chairman of the steel-making giant Jegang, a company at the heart of South Korean politics and industry. But she wants no part of the world of politics or business, and would rather spend time on her career as a budding miniature artist.

Meanwhile, Cha Seo Young (Kim Hye Eun), a rival announcer who presents the BSN late-night news show, has secretly set her sights on taking Baek Soo Hyun’s place on the flagship show. When a tragic incident takes place one rainy night, threatening to derail Baek Soo Hyun’s life and career. The ensuing police investigation sees a familiar face assigned to the case – in the form of an old friend-turned-detective Sim Seok Hoon (Kim Sung Soo).

This drama was based on the novel “The Tragedy of One” by the Japanese crime writer Rintaro Norizuki.
