The hard-working Ning Meng (Tan Song Yun) dreams of rising to the top of the investment industry, but instead finds herself toiling at an investment firm, where her boss Lu Jiming (Lin Geng Xin) has little faith in her abilities to shine in a senior role. Worried that she will become stuck in the corporate grind with little chance of moving onto the next rung, Ning Meng decides to find a new job. After countless rejections, she finally manages to land a job at a new company. While the new position is tricky, Ning Meng finds that by applying the knowledge she learned working with Jiming, she is able to rise to the challenge. Over time, friendship forms between the former workmates as they offer one another support. But as Ning Meng gets closer to her goals, will that friendship morph into romantic love?
