Worried that she will become stuck in the corporate grind with little chance of moving onto the next rung, Ning Meng decides to find a new job. After countless rejections, she finally manages to land a job at a new company. While the new position is tricky, Ning Meng finds that by applying the knowledge she learned working with Jiming, she is able to rise to the challenge. Over time, friendship forms between the former workmates as they offer one another support. But as Ning Meng gets closer to her goals, will that friendship morph into romantic love?
