The Fox Fairy

In the Tiansheng Kingdom, Gu Yun Fan (Tan Xin Zer), a legendary military general, is ordered by the emperor to marry after being wounded in battle. Unbeknownst to him, his bride Xia Jiu Ren (Dan Ni) is actually a fox demon who has taken the place of his intended wife to repay a debt. As they navigate their unexpected marriage, Yun Fan and Jiu Ren gradually develop mutual understanding and respect, challenging the boundaries between mortal and supernatural worlds. Their relationship evolves as they learn to trust and care for each other, despite their vastly different origins. This is a 2021 Chinese fantasy romance drama directed by Chen Yi.
