The Man's Voice

Baek Tae Hwa (Choi Tae Joon) is a pilot at a major airline. He was born into a well-to-do family and is also very good-looking. On top of that, he is a natural charmer – to the extent that he often breaks hearts without really intending to. He also loves animals, particularly his beloved pet cat. Because of the nature of his job, he often has to travel abroad and usually takes his cat to a hostel. But when this facility is closed one day ahead of his next flight, Baek Tae Hwa finds himself in a bind that will unexpectedly change his life. Go Mi Rim (Song Ji Eun) works part-time at a convenience store that Baek Tae Hwa frequents. She, like many others, is completely smitten with Baek Tae Hwa, and upon hearing about the pet hostel, agrees to look after his cat while he is gone. After he leaves, though, a terrible lightning storm rages, and strikes – leaving her suddenly able to understand what the cat is saying. Armed with the ability to understand the cat, Go Mi Rim suddenly becomes indispensable to Baek Tae Hwa. Could her new feline friend help her win Baek Tae Hwa’s heart? “The Man’s Voice” is a 2021 South Korean drama series.
