A Robot in the Orange Orchard

Lu Sen (Connor Leong), a technology company chairman with a deadly skin-contact allergy, becomes intrigued by Dr. Fu Yang's (Wang Fang) lifelike robot companion "Friday". When a technical issue prevents the robot's delivery, the doctor asks his former assistant Yang Shan Shan (Sun Qian), who was the robot's physical model, to impersonate the robot temporarily. Arriving at Lu Kun's home, Shan Shan successfully mimics the robot's behavior and avoids triggering his allergies. As she spends more time with him, she becomes emotionally invested and struggles with keeping her true identity secret. Her growing feelings and desire to reveal the truth create tension, leading her to wonder if Lu Kun will accept her as a human once her deception is exposed.
