Yin Yi Ke (Angelababy) has devoted her life to helping everyone she holds near and dear, both at home and at work. However, despite her life seeming flawless on the outside, she’s starting to become jaded and burnt out. One day, she is reunited with Xu Guang Xi (Lai Kuanlin), who she used to know as a freeloading young boy, brought together by family remarriages, although the two share no blood ties. However, Guang Xi has changed a lot in their time apart when he was studying overseas. Now in his 20s, he has grown into a handsome and charming adult. Guang Xi starts to develop feelings for Yi Ke, despite the fact that she is seven years his senior. Adjusting to life on Yi Ke’s wavelength provides a challenge for Guang Xi, but he refuses to give up. Will he succeed in winning her heart? And could this be the start of the love of their lifetimes? This 2022 Chinese drama was directed by Yu Chung Chung.
