A Dream of Splendor

In the early 11th Century, the Imperial family faces a crisis when a damning painting of the Empress' past life goes missing. Gu Qian Fan (Chen Xiao), an elite military commander, is tasked with recovering the picture before it falls into dangerous hands. Zhao Pan Er (Liu Yi Fei), searching for her missing fiancé, arrives in the capital with two women she has rescued: Song Yinzhang (Lin Yun) and Sun San Niang (Liu Yan). Together, they open a tea house that becomes renowned for their talents. When Zhao Pan Er and Gu Qian Fan's paths cross, they initially distrust each other but gradually recognize the potential benefits of working together. As their relationship evolves, romantic tensions begin to emerge. This is a 2022 Chinese drama series directed by Yang Yang.
