Facing potential job loss, Ashida desperately needs to write a hit song that demonstrates his understanding of love. The two enter a "fake" romance to solve their respective problems, which triggers the jealousy of Kisara's childhood friend Natsukawa Shingo (Fuma Kikuchi), who has long harbored secret feelings for her.
