Feisty attorney Kim Yu Ri (Lee Se Young) has just quit her job at a prestigious law firm, deciding instead to open up a cafe where she can dispense both legal advice and coffee. As she searches for a suitable storefront, she unexpectedly reunites with former high school friend Kim Jeong Ho (Lee Seung Gi), a former prosecutor-turned-landlord – who also considers her his first love. While their reunion starts off awkward, they soon rekindle their friendship as they navigate hilarious and heartfelt cases for their diverse clientele, but they also confront their shared past and the reasons behind Jeong Ho's sudden career change. This drama was adapted from the web novel "Love According to Law" by No Seung Ah and Il Ri.
