Defconn is the stage name of Yoo Dae Joon, a South Korean rapper, composer and host. Born on January 6, 1977, he released his first hip hop album “Straight From the Streetz” in 2001 and has since released many successful albums that have cemented his status as one of the best known underground rappers in South Korea. Defconn has since expanded his career as a television MC and host, including on the shows “Weekly Idol” and “2 Days & 1 Night.” In 2012, he and Hyungdon formed the hip-hop duo known as Hyungdon and Daejun.

Jo Jung Sik is a South Korean announcer and actor. He was born on September 15, 1986, and made his acting debut in 2015. Since then, he has appeared in a number of television variety programs and a handful of television dramas, including “The Player: K-POP Quest” (2022).

LYn, born Lee Se Jin, is an award-winning South Korean singer. She was born in Namyangju, Gyeonggi, South Korea, on November 9, 1981, and made her debut in the entertainment industry in 2000. Since then, she has released an impressive number of singles, collaborations, soundtrack contributions, extended plays, and studio albums. Over the years, she has appeared on a number of television programs, including “Korea on Stage - Namwon Gwanghallu” (2021).

Kim Sung Kyu, also known as Sunggyu or Sungkyu, is an award-winning South Korean singer and actor. He was born in Jeonju, South Korea, on April 28, 1989, and made his debut in the entertainment industry in 2010, as the leader and main vocalist of the K-pop boy band, Infinite. In 2012, he made his debut as a musical actor, taking his first stage role in the musical, “Gwanghwamun Sonata”. Later that same year, he released his first solo EP, marking his debut as a solo artist and also made his first appearance in a television drama. Since then, he has taken a wide variety of roles in theater productions, and has appeared on a number of television variety programs, including “Music Bank K-Chart in Mexico” (2014).

Not like the survival audition programs from the past, this show focuses on the journey to their debut and how they grow up while preparing for their debut. Lyn, Kim Sung Kyu, EDEN, HANHAE, and Honey J will train them in vocals, rap, and dance, and Master MC Defconn and Jo Jung Sik will be watching them. Will the members complete the players\u2019 missions and be upgraded as super rookies?
