Seol Hyun, who is known as Kim Seolhyun, is a South Korean singer and actress. Born on January 3, 1995, she is best known as a member of the K-pop girl group AOA. Seolhyun was first discovered when she won the 8th SMART Model Contest. She debuted with AOA in 2012. That same year, she made her acting debut in the 2012 television drama “My Daughter Seo Young.” She made her big-screen debut as Lee Min Ho’s younger sister in the 2015 film “Gangnam Blues,” beating out 500 other people for the role. She also starred in the popular television dramas “Brave Family” (2015) and “Orange Marmalade” (2015).

Seolhyun

Im Siwan, better known by his stage name Siwan, is a South Korean singer and actor. Born on December 1, 1988, he is a member of the nine-member boy band ZE:A, which debuted in 2010. Im Siwan crossed over into acting and received critical acclaim for his roles in the television dramas "Triangle" (2014) and "Incomplete Life (aka Misaeng)" (2014).

Shin Eun Soo is an up-and-coming South Korean actress who was born on October 23, 2002. She was recruited by talent agency JYP Entertainment in 2014 as a trainee singer and actress, and made her big-screen debut in the lead role of the 2016 movie “Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned.” She has also gone on to make a name for herself in the world of dramas and has starred in series “Legend of the Blue Sea” (2016), as well as “Bad Papa (2018) and the more recent movie “Homme Fatale” (2019).

Shin Eun Soo

Bang Jae Min, also known as a.mond, is a South Korean rapper and actor. He was born in Seoul, South Korea on March 26, 1999, and made his debut in the entertainment industry in 2017, when he participated in the survival reality program, “High School Rapper.” The following year, he made his debut as an actor, taking his first role in a television drama. Since then, he has appeared in a handful of reality programs and television dramas, including “Dear X Who Doesn’t Love Me” (2022).

Park Ye Young is a South Korean actress who was born on August 22, 1989. She graduated from the Film Department of Konkuk University and debuted as an actress in 2013. She has since gone on to star in films such as “Vertigo” (2019). She has also appeared in a number of drama titles, including “Sell Your Haunted House” (2021), “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” (2021), and “Summer Strike” (2022).

Kwak Min Gyu is a South Korean actor who was born on October 1, 1987, in Seoul, South Korea. He graduated from Konkuk University’s Department of Film and debuted in the movie “Young Artists” in 2013. He appeared in the music video for Oh Hyuk and Primary’s song “Gondry” (Ft. Lim Kim) in 2015. He has since gone on to appear in movies such as “Today, Together” (2019) and dramas such as “Summer Strike” (2022).

Kwak Min Gyu

Lee Yeo Reum (Seolhyun) is a young woman whose career and life are going very well: She has just been awarded permanent contract status at work, and she has a boyfriend she likes very much. But work is starting to get stressful, and then she is hit with a double whammy of misfortune. Her mother dies in a tragic accident just moments after she is dumped by her boyfriend. Feeling utterly dejected and burned out, she decides to quit her job, head to the seaside, and do absolutely nothing for a while – at least until she can recharge her batteries and recover mentally.

She moves to a small seaside village named Angok. And it is here that she meets An Dae Beom (Im Siwan), a stuttering librarian who also has his share of skeletons in the closet. Many years ago, he was a math prodigy with a bright academic future ahead of him. But circumstances have forced him away from the big city and the scholastic life. What will happen when these two lost souls meet – and will a spell of “doing nothing” in this small town really cure their ills?

This drama was adapted from the web-based cartoon (webtoon) series by Joo Young Hyun.
