Yamada Ryosuke is a Japanese singer, TV personality, and actor who was born on May 9, 1993, in Tokyo, Japan. He joined the talent agency Johnny & Associates at the tender age of 10 and debuted on the long-running music-themed variety TV show “Shounen Club” in 2004. He went on to make his acting debut in 2006 and in 2007 joined the all-male pop group Hey! Say! JUMP. He released his debut solo single “Mystery Virgin” in 2013. He made his big-screen debut in a live-action movie adaptation of the hit manga series “Assassination Classroom” in 2015. More recently, he appeared in the drama series “My Cuteness Is About to Expire!?” (2022).

Rina Kawaei is a member of the Japanese female idol group AKB48. Together with Iriyama Anna and Kato Rena, they compose a unit named Anrire, which released a single entitled "Ikujinashi Masquerade" with Sashihara Rino on October 17, 2012. 

She was also in a group called Anrire with AKB48 members Anna Iriyama and Rena Kato; they were featured in Rino Sashihara's single "Ikujinashi Masquerade", which charted at number one in the Japanese Oricon weekly singles chart.

Onoe Matsuya is a Japanese actor who was born on January 30, 1985, in Tokyo, Japan. He began acting in earnest in the mid-2000s and starred in the drama series “Memories of Matsuko” (2006). More recently, he appeared in the hit movie title “Love, Life, and Goldfish” (2021) and the 2022 drama “Don’t Call it Mystery.”

To most people, Eiji Urashima (Ryosuke Yamada) seems like a pretty typical university student. He goes to class, studies when he should, and has fun hanging out with his friends. But what most people don’t know is that Eiji is the son of a serial killer.

Known for murdering female university students in horrendous ways, Eiji’s father has built quite a reputation for himself. As much as Eiji abhors what his father does, there’s nothing he can do to stop him. As if being the son of a serial killer wasn’t bad enough, Eiji often suffers from memory blackouts, and they seem to be getting worse. Beginning to fear he may be sharing his life with an alternate personality, Eiji’s fears only escalate when a new murder takes place, a murder which exactly matches the style of his sadistic father.

Wondering whether or not he might be unwittingly turning into his father, Eiji is riddled with fear and anxiety. Determined to uncover the truth, Eiji accepts the help of the victim’s closest friend, Nami (Rina Kawaei). Working together, will they be able to uncover the truth before the murderer strikes again?

Based on the manga of the same name written by Hajime Inoryuu, “The Killer Inside” is a 2022 Japanese mystery thriller drama directed by Hiroaki Matsuyama.
