Once the guardian of demons, Chun Yao (Fiction Guo) was banished from the heavens and now rules the Hundred Spirits Lake as the demon king. When Princess Han Sheng (Connie Kang) accidentally enters his domain with a mysterious spirit book, Chun Yao becomes determined to possess it. Instead of simply taking the book, he agrees to work with Han Sheng to uncover its secrets. As they explore the book's tales of spirits and monsters, they experience stories of love, hatred, and complex emotions. Their shared journey through these narratives begins to soften their hearts and challenge their initial perceptions of each other. Will their unexpected collaboration lead to something more?
