Color of Romance

When unassuming office worker Anzu Kawakami (Makoto Okunaka) goes to a party with her best friend, she ends up far drinking more than she intended and making a drunken spectacle of herself. Worse still, one of the most handsome men she has ever met is at the party – her company’s new hire Tetsuya Kuroda (Takumi Kizu). Things get even more awkward when she is ordered to work with Tetsuya, whose recollection of her drunken party escapades is all too clear! Will she ever live down her shame? Or could this awkward introduction inadvertently fan the flames of office romance? This 2021 Japanese drama series was based on the hit manga “Peach Color, Apricot Color, Sakura Color” by Saki and was directed by Akimori Sakemi and Naoyuki Miyashita.
