We Are Too Clumsy About Love

Hana (Umika Kawashima) and Mizuki (Nana Asakawa) have been best friends since elementary school. Now 25, Hana longs to find romance, but long-term love has evaded her. And while Mizuki is very protective of Hana, she is also secretly jealous of the way most men seem to prefer her friend. After a cheating boyfriend breaks Hana’s heart, the friends go to a hot spring to recover, where they meet the handsome duo Ryosuke (Jin Shirasu) and Ayumu (Akihisa Shiono). While they are chatting, Ryosuke notes that Hana keeps taking a back seat in their conversation and leaving Hana with a lot to reflect on. Love is in the air for these lonely hearts – but who will end up with who? Or could a third party show up and ruin everything? This 2020 Japanese drama, based on the manga of the same name by Eiko Tachibana, was directed by Koji Ono and Hidetaka Sakamoto.
