The powerful, quick-witted, and resourceful Ye Xi (Huang Ri Ying) wants nothing more than to become a heroic martial artist who rescues the poor and needy from evil. But while her intentions are noble, she is naive to the wicked ways of the world. As such, whenever she tries to put her trust in a potential martial arts practitioner partner, she inevitably finds herself taken advantage of. When she finally finds a righteous person, the divine doctor Bai Yue (Li Hong Yi), fate cruelly intervenes and tears them apart. Determined to fight her way back to his side, she is forced to revisit all of her former mistakes – and right every single one of her past wrongs. Will she succeed in her quest? And will her mission end in a romance that was worth fighting for? This 2023 Chinese drama was directed by Zhu Dong Ning.
