Shitara Kouichi (Fujigaya Taisuke), a successful 31-year-old beer brewery employee, sees his life unravel when he is suddenly demoted and forced to quit his job. Facing divorce from his wife, he unexpectedly becomes the caretaker of an all-female boarding house. There, he meets Nishijima Itsuka (Sekimizu Nagisa), a resident who appears professional to her colleagues but is bossy and critical at home. Despite her initial harsh treatment, an unexpected romantic connection begins to develop between them as they spend more time together.
