Synopsis
Born to a wealthy family, Cheng Ke grew up wanting for nothing but a dramatic chain of events left him in utter ruin. Forced to rummage through the garbage to search for his lost possessions, Cheng Ke quickly realizes that he’s all but helpless on his own.
Understandably upset by his current circumstances, Cheng Ke chooses to vent his frustrations in an outburst that inevitably ends with a very solid punch in the face and an unexpected acquaintance with terrifying gang leader Jiang Yuduo. What might have been a brief encounter turns into something more when Cheng Ke learns that his apartment’s landlord is none other than the fearsome gang leader. Unable to perform even the most menial tasks on his own, Cheng Ke soon finds himself relying heavily on his landlord for help, which Jiang Yuduo ultimately gives.
With time, an indescribable bond begins to form between Cheng Ke and Jiang Yuduo, but the ghosts of the pasts they left behind eventually return to haunt them. With danger soon lurking around every corner, will this pair of unlikely friends find a way to save each other before it’s too late?
