Synopsis
Among the world’s professional esports players, Ye Xiu is easily one of the best. As captain of the esports team, Excellent Era, Ye Xiu has long held the reputation as being one of the world’s best players of the multiplayer online video game, “Glory”. Dubbed the “Battle God”, Ye Xiu’s career as a pro gamer was legendary. Unfortunately, like all good things, his shining career as a pro gamer came to a very abrupt end.
Forced to resign from the team he had captained for so long, Ye Xiu soon finds himself in need of other employment. Taking a job as a night-shift manager at a local internet cafe, Ye Xiu stays away from gaming for a while. But when “Glory” launches its tenth server, Ye Xiu can’t resist the urge to take the game up once again. Starting from scratch, Ye Xiu’s early in-game achievements quickly catch the attention of many of the game’s players and guilds.
With the entire gaming world wondering who this new player might be, Ye Xiu plays on, gathering a new team of in-game comrades eager to join him in his pursuit of glory. Playing without sponsors or a seasoned team, will Ye Xiu be able to reclaim his spot at the top of the gaming world?
