Jade Dynasty

Zhang Xiao Fan is an unassuming child whose life in his village is relatively uneventful – until the fateful day an elderly monk comes by in search of food. Zhang Xiao Fan goes to find something, but when he returns, he sees a mystery assassin attack and fatally wound the monk. The old man takes medicine that temporarily restores his health, but will ultimately claim his life. In his little remaining time, the monk decides to teach Zhang Xiao Fan the fundamentals of cultivation… This knowledge leads Zhang Xiao Fan to join the justice-loving Qing Yun order, where he can continue his training. Here, he meets other righteous individuals, such as Lu Xue Qi. But his journey of discovery is fraught with danger – and Zhang Xiao Fan soon finds himself charged with danger-filled quests! “Jade Dynasty” is a 2022 Chinese animated series that was based on a novel by Xiao Ding and directed by Zhang Xiao Long.
