Synopsis
During the reign of Emperor Wan Li, Jiangnan is terrorized by a serial killer leaving cryptic clues and bizarrely posed corpses. Qu San Geng (Bai Yu Fan), the disciple of the first victim, begins investigating the seemingly unconnected murders with a small group of associates. As they dig deeper, long-buried incidents from a decade ago resurface, revealing signs of a mysterious puppet master manipulating events from the shadows. Qu San Geng must unravel the complex web of murder and intrigue to identify and stop the killer before more lives are lost. This is a 2023 Chinese drama series directed by Wang Zheng.
