After their marriage, Kudi Liu Li (Gülnezer Bextiyar) and her husband, Pei Xing Jian (Timmy Xu) settled into a peaceful, harmonious life. But when Xing Jian is demoted from his position and deported to the western state of Xizhou, their happy life takes an unexpected turn. Starting a new life in Xizhou isn’t easy but by working together and supporting each other, they settle in. Taking a new position as an official, Xing Jian is unfortunate enough to draw the attention of the young noble, Qu Chong Yu (Liu Duan Duan). Wary of Xing Jian and his unbelievable assignment, Chong Yu does his best to make life miserable for the young couple.
