Chef Jin Bai Wan (Xu Hao) is known for her outstanding culinary skills and vibrant personality, but she wasn't always a chef – she used to be known as Chu, the martial world’s top female assassin, until she lost her memory. In her new life, she meets Qu Zheng (Wanyan Luo Rong), a beautiful and elegant master qin player, who expresses romantic interest in Bai Wan, and the two eventually build a relationship with each other. However, Qu Zheng has his own agenda that he keeps hidden from Bai Wan.
