His roles in the drama “The Chaser” (2012) and film “Hide and Seek” (2013) were unexpected hits, and he also on Best Actor at the 39th Moscow International Film Festival in 2017 for his role in the film “Ordinary Person.”

Kim Myung Min is an award-winning South Korean actor. Born on October 8, 1972, he broke into acting after winning a public acting contest in 1996. After playing various supporting roles for about five years, he landed his first leading role in the 2001 film “Sorum.” Kim Myung Min then suffered a series of bad luck with projects over the next three years and even toyed with the idea of immigrating to New Zealand. But he was offered the lead role in the epic 2004 historical drama “Immortal Admiral Yi Sun Shin,” for which he won the Best Actor award and catapulted to fame. Son Ho Young (Kim Do Hoon), the son of Judge Song Pan Ho (Son Hyun Joo), kills the son of crime boss Kim Kang Heon (Kim Myung Min) in a hit-and-run accident. While Pan Ho initially encourages Ho Young to confess, he eventually covers up the incident to protect him.
