After escaping from a "Special Training Unit" where individuals were forcibly trained from a young age to develop special abilities, a group of superpowered people come together to form a surrogate family for protection from a shadowy criminal syndicate. Their new "family unit" must now find a way to maintain their cover while dealing with criminal threats and interpersonal conflict – but this new situation might bring them closer together.
