After Jiang Si (Jing Tian) is killed by her beloved Yu Jin (Zhang Wan Yi), she unexpectedly awakes with a second chance at life. Determined to rewrite her fate, she breaks off her engagement and forges a new path for herself by starting her own business and investigating the disappearances of several young girls. While she enjoys her new life trajectory, she finds herself crossing paths with Yu Jin, now a young general, once again. Though Jiang Si is initially hesitant to trust the man who once murdered her, they begin to work together, changing the lives of her family members for the better and causing Jiang Si's formerly guarded heart to soften. Will Jiang Si find happiness with this new version of Yu Jin, or will her fate remain the same? This drama was adapted from the web novel "The Brocaded Tale of the Girl Si" by Willow Leaves In Winter.
