He Zheng (Dai Gao Zheng) has always harbored a deep love for his stepsister, He An Ran (Yu Yi Yao). However, after He Zheng witnessed his mother's imprisonment and death by the hand of An Ran's father, he vanishes without a word. In the process, he left behind Mo Yu Tang (Guan Yue), a younger boy he befriended and swore to protect.
