Upon finding out that his grandfather has passed away, Daikichi Kawachi returns to his family home where he unexpectedly meets a young girl named Rin – who's allegedly his grandfather's illegitimate daughter. However, Daikichi has no experience with children, and finds that he has to completely rearrange his life in order to care for Rin, but is willing to do whatever he needs.
