Eugene is the stage name of Kim Yoo Jin, a popular South Korean singer and actress. Born on March 3, 1981, she began her career as a part of the idol girl group S.E.S., which was active from 1997 to 2002 and was considered the first successful K-pop girl group. After the group disbanded in 2002, Eugene released two solo albums and has enjoyed a successful acting career. Eugene made her acting debut in the 2002 television series “Loving You.” She has since starred in many popular films and television dramas, including the recent “A Hundred Years’ Inheritance” (2013), “Can We Love?” (2014) and “All About My Mom” (2015). In 2011, Eugene married actor Ki Tae Young, her co-star from the 2009 drama “Creating Destiny.” The couple and their daughter, Rohee, joined the cast of the popular reality series “The Return of Superman,” in December 2015.

Ji Hyun Woo is a South Korean actor and musician. Born as Joo Hyung Tae on November 29, 1984, he is the former lead guitarist for the Korean indie rock band The Nuts. He made his acting debut in the 2003 and has starred in many popular films and television dramas, including “Invincible Lee Pyung Kang” (2009), “Birth of a Rich Man” (2010), “A Thousand Kisses” (2011), “Queen In Hyun’s Man” (2012), “Trot Lovers” (2014), “Angry Mom” (2015), “Bad Thief, Good Thief” (2017) and “Risky Romance” (2018). Also a talented musician, Ji Hyun Woo started his music career as a session guitarist for the band Moonchild and then formed The Nuts with Park Joon Shik and Kim Hyun Joong in 2004. He released his first solo single in 2011. Ji Hyun Woo’s older brother is Ji Hyun Soo of the rock band N.EX.T.

Cha Su Yeon (Eugene) has stood by her husband, Hyun Min Cheol (Ji Hyun Woo) throughout his presidential campaign, successfully seeing him elected to office despite previous setbacks. Su Yeon herself was a member of the National Assembly, but her political aspirations were constantly blocked by her father, the party leader at the time, so she shifted her goals to helping Min Cheol. In the midst of preparing for her role as the first lady, Min Cheol blindsides her by demanding a divorce just 67 days before the presidential inauguration. The relationship between Su Yeon and Min Cheol grows cold and adversarial, made worse by Sin Hae Rin (Lee Min Young), Min Cheol's secretive secretary and closest confidant. As Su Yeon endures the final two months before inauguration day, she must navigate political conspiracies, family secrets, and power struggles that threaten to upend her life.
