Through mysterious circumstances, Ning Que travels through time and space to the Great Tang, where martial arts and spiritual cultivation are widely practiced. Initially, Ning Que plans to live an easy, luxurious life, but he soon realizes that without any cultivation abilities, he's unable to make a living.
