High school student Hajime Suzuki (Kosaku Koizumi) is somewhat of a loner, preferring to engage in his own hobbies instead of hanging out with his classmates. Secretly, Suzuki has been writing a boys' love novel – and he's modeled the protagonist after Haruto Serizawa (Ryoto Shisaka), one of the most popular boys in his class. When Serizawa ends up reading the story, Suzuki is certain that he'll be made fun of. But to his surprise, Serizawa has nothing but nice things to say, and he starts intentionally spending more time with Suzuki. And in a twist that Suzuki never could have predicted, Serizawa professes his feelings for Suzuki, pursuing him with straightforward, intense devotion. Has Suzuki managed to write himself a love story – and is he ready for what comes next? This drama was adapted from the novel of the same name by Yuzu Tsubaki.
