Fashion King

Dongdaemun is the fashion capital of Seoul, where both up-and-coming and well-established designers develop and showcase the newest trends. Aspiring designer Ga Young (Shin Sae Kyeong) wants to follow in her late parents’ footsteps in the fashion industry, but struggles to make headway while working under her parents’ friend who took over their storefront. After a fire devastates the store, Ga Young applies for a job at a sewing factory run by Young Gul (Yoo Ah In), who makes a living by counterfeiting designer goods. Young Gul himself is in bad financial straits, and ends up asking former high school classmate and fashion conglomerate heir Jae Hyuk (Lee Je Hoon) for a loan, only to end up rebuffed. Jae Hyuk’s ex-girlfriend and fashion designer Anna (Kwon Yu Ri) ends up catching Young Gul’s eye, competing with Ga Young for his attention. Can these hopefuls make their dreams come true?
