Synopsis

In medieval China, Li Xiao Yao (Hu Ge), a troublemaking young man, embarks on a quest to find a cure for his sick aunt, leading him to Dream Island. There, he meets and marries Zhao Ling'er (Liu Yi Fei), promising to return after obtaining the medicine. However, the Lunar Sect Cult erases his memories, causing him to return home with Ling'er without recalling their marriage. Ling'er struggles to win back his heart while competing with Lin Yue Ru (Ady An), who tries to impress Xiao Yao. When Ling'er mysteriously disappears, Xiao Yao and his friends set out on a dangerous journey to find her, facing numerous challenges along the way. The drama explores themes of love, memory, and destiny as Xiao Yao confronts Ling'er's hidden past. This is a 2005 Chinese television series adapted from the Taiwanese role-playing game "The Legend of Sword and Fairy," directed by Wu Jin Yuan.
