Sinopse

As a child in 1970s Korea, Seo In Ae (Hwang Jung Eum) had the misfortune to witness her mother’s murder. While being raised by her aunt, In Ae vowed to avenge her mother’s death and help others seeking justice. She grew close to brothers Han Kwang Hoon (Ryu Soo Young) and Kwang Cheol (Jung Kyung Ho), the sons of a poor fisherman. In Ae and Kwang Hoon share a mutual romantic interest, but their lives consistently take them in different directions. However, Kwang Cheol also loves In Ae, despite knowing about his brother's interest. As In Ae's career aspirations bring her into military and political circles amidst the tumultous 1990s, she must skillfully navigate interpersonal conflicts, threats to democracy, and more.
